It was another battle for last place (everyone was in the running)’¦two weeks in a row. Everyone choose songs that didn’t show off voices’¦but rather showed their limitations.
My Best to worst:
Pickle ‘“ best performance of the night’¦Reba has nothing to fear though as it seemed kind of emotionless. Confidence is showing’¦she gets more professional everyday.
Katharine ‘“ Weird song’¦not country enough would be the way to describe it….her pinpoint vocal talent struggled through the mostly talking song’¦but her constant smile throughout the song made it enjoyable.
Paris ‘“ I know you won’t believe me’¦but after the second bar of the song’¦I swore I was looking at Dionne Warrick at age 18’¦.then at the end the always in-sync Simon Cowell blurted it out’¦bastard’¦now I couldn’t be original. Paris did a good job’¦and gained 2 years of age.
Chris- Really tones it down’¦.almost to the level of no pulse. Very boring’¦but not bad’¦you really wanted to hear the whole song.
Ace ‘“ slowing dialing it in’¦he is a ballad singer’¦with a soft voice (there never has been a pop singer that fits that mold far as I can remember. ) Ok overall’¦much better than last week.
Bucky ‘“right style for Bucky’¦strangely enough this average, unintelligible performance put him out of the bottom 3’¦.that shows you how everyone else did.
Elliot ‘“ Finally starting to show limitations’¦was that really Garth brooks?…guess he has nothing to worry about ‘¦weak vocal overall.
Mandisa ‘“ Worst song of the bunch’¦ Again’¦A muddled mess. Each clothing choice moves her farther away from the prize’¦she isn’t heavy people’¦she is obese’¦barely walk down stairs obese. She needs a ‘˜stand there and belt it out in a black flowing dress’™…kinda song.
Taylor ‘“ No energy’¦no soul’¦just plain boring’¦it a bad time to sub-par..the first hint of not keeping up sends you home
Taylor was the weakest overall last night’¦but lets hope he survives because when we move back to fun songs’¦he passes them all.
Bucky would be my choice to go tonight’¦due to his overall limitations. He is the last one of the group that really can’t win this’¦everybody else is just practice and a great song away.
Oh yea…Lisa was voted off last week….all the high school musical acts have left the building.
