She had two missions last night: Introduce her self to the world’¦.and ease the base of their fears of an unknown ‘¦.Mission accomplished (Yea’¦you heard me’¦just like May 2003..get over it)
I had heard her speak before’¦so I knew she could talk’¦I had seen her policies’¦so I knew she had political balls (figuratively of course). But I was not expecting the gang rape of Obama that I saw. You have a red meat guy like Giuliani knocking softballs out of the park. Highlight: ‘œObama has flip flopped so much I think Biden better get the VP job in writing’’¦ She just needed to come in a tell us who she is’¦but not Sarahcuda’¦her last ten minutes was a slasher film on how and what the ‘œopponents’ will do to you’¦the American taxpayer’’¦Bravo lady’¦Bravo. She summed up EXACTLY what conservative ideals are’¦and to boot’¦she lives them. For along time we (conservatives) let our actions do the talking’¦so the battle of words was like bringing a knife to a gun fight’¦well now’¦for this fight’¦we have a very large gun. Four more weeks’¦ on October 4th’¦the real fun begins.
So how did the Obama camp react?
People on the official email list received this:
I wasn’t planning on sending you something tonight. But if you saw what I saw from the Republican convention, you know that it demands a response.
I saw John McCain’s attack squad of negative, cynical politicians. They lied about Barack Obama and Joe Biden, and they attacked you for being a part of this campaign.
But worst of all — and this deserves to be noted — they insulted the very idea that ordinary people have a role to play in our political process.
You know that despite what John McCain and his attack squad say, everyday people have the power to build something extraordinary when we come together. Make a donation of $5 or more right now to remind them.
Both Rudy Giuliani and Sarah Palin specifically mocked Barack’s experience as a community organizer on the South Side of Chicago more than two decades ago, where he worked with people who had lost jobs and been left behind when the local steel plants closed.
It’s now clear that John McCain’s campaign has decided that desperate lies and personal attacks — on Barack Obama and on you — are the only way they can earn a third term for the Bush policies that McCain has supported more than 90 percent of the time.
Other than unadulterated whining in the email’¦the ‘œmocked Barack’s experience as a community organizer’ lines were classic’¦somehow accepting money to give speeches is equal to running a city and a state. Now the ‘˜Bush Policies’™ thing is their hook that keeps the Demo’s in a fury’¦but the 90% voting by John was not a wink-wink to the president’¦it was a vote for the republican policies. But hey’¦if using Bush’s name gets you $5 more bucks’¦who am I to stop you. Overall I like the fact that the great speech by Palin required such a quick and negative response’¦.I sense squirming.
